About Tarabon
Tarabon lies south of Toman Head on the west coast, with Amadicia to the east. Taraboner men often wear thin veils, and the nation is governed by a King and a Panarch whose powers are meant to balance each other.
Tarabon's quarrel with Arad Doman over the Almoth Plain leads to civil war in the early books, and The Shadow Rising takes Nynaeve and Elayne to its capital, Tanchico.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to The Shadow Rising.
