About Tanchico
Tanchico rises over hills on three fingers of land reaching into the Aryth Ocean, with a large harbour between them. It is the seat of both Tarabon's King and its Panarch, a shared rule that tends to fall apart in times of trouble.
In The Shadow Rising, Nynaeve and Elayne travel to Tanchico in pursuit of the Black Ajah while civil war tears Tarabon apart. The Panarch's Palace holds a museum full of relics from earlier Ages.
