About Chachin
Chachin is the capital of Kandor, which lies between Saldaea and Arafel along the southern edge of the Blight. Like all the Borderlands, Kandor keeps its soldiers ready for Trolloc raids, and its people combine hard practicality with a strong merchant tradition.
The city is the main setting of the prequel New Spring, where the young Moiraine and Lan first meet. In the main series Kandor stays mostly in the background until the war reaches the north.
