About Maradon
Maradon is the royal city of Saldaea, the westernmost of the four Borderlands that guard the Westlands against the Blight. It stands near the head of the Arinelle, the river that flows south through Andor to Whitebridge.
Saldaeans are fierce horse soldiers, and Queen Tenobia rules here. Maradon becomes the scene of a desperate defence in the final books, when the Shadow presses south from the Blight.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to Towers of Midnight.
