About The Eye of the World
The Eye of the World lies deep in the Blight, north of Shienar, protected by the Green Man, the last of the Nym. It was made during the Breaking to hold a pool of untainted male power, kept for a time of greatest need.
Moiraine leads the Emond's Fielders here at the climax of The Eye of the World. The first book takes its title from this place, and what happens there sets the course of the whole series.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to The Eye of the World.
