Region
Andor
The largest and most populous kingdom of the Westlands, ruled from Caemlyn by a queen.
Where is Andor?
Andor lies north-west of Caemlyn, about 290 miles (470 km) away as the crow flies.
About Andor
Andor stretches from the Mountains of Mist in the west to the River Erinin in the east, roughly 1,700 miles by common estimates. It includes the remote Two Rivers, towns such as Baerlon and Whitebridge, and the capital Caemlyn. By law only a woman may sit on the Lion Throne.
Andor is where the story starts and the land many readers picture first. Its queen, its Queen's Guards and its long ties to the White Tower appear in nearly every book.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to The Eye of the World.
