Dragonmount
The lone, smoking mountain raised where Lews Therin Telamon died, and where the Dragon is reborn.
Where is Dragonmount?
Dragonmount lies south-west of Tar Valon, about 250 miles (400 km) away as the crow flies.
About Dragonmount
Dragonmount rises alone from the plain on the west bank of the Erinin, near Tar Valon. Legend says it was raised in a single moment when Lews Therin Telamon, the Dragon, killed himself with the One Power at the end of the Age of Legends. Its broken peak still smokes.
The prologue of The Eye of the World shows the moment it was made. Prophecy says the Dragon will be reborn on its slopes, and that idea becomes one of the first great mysteries of the series.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to The Eye of the World.
