About Two Rivers
The Two Rivers is a quiet farming region in the far west of Andor, bounded by the Mountains of Mist, the Taren and the White River. Its villages include Emond's Field, Watch Hill, Deven Ride and Taren Ferry. Royal rule has faded so far here that many locals barely remember they belong to a kingdom.
The land once lay at the heart of Manetheren, and its people's old bloodline matters to the story. Rand, Mat, Perrin, Egwene and Nynaeve all grew up here.
