About Dumai's Wells
Dumai's Wells is a small cluster of wells on the open plain north of Cairhien, on the way toward Tar Valon. It has little importance on maps, but it is one of the best-remembered places in the series.
The climax of Lord of Chaos takes place here, involving the Aiel, the newly trained Asha'man, Aes Sedai from the White Tower and the Shaido. Many readers name it as one of the high points of the series.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to Lord of Chaos.
