Spine of the World
The great mountain wall between the Westlands and the Aiel Waste, also called the Dragonwall.
Where is Spine of the World?
Spine of the World lies south-east of Cairhien, about 740 miles (1,190 km) away as the crow flies.
About Spine of the World
The Spine of the World runs from the north of Shienar down to the Sea of Storms, forming the eastern edge of the Westlands. Its peaks are so high that only a few passes, such as Jangai Pass, allow travel between the Westlands and the Aiel Waste.
The Aiel call it the Dragonwall. The Erinin rises on its northern slopes and flows west into Shienar.
Spoiler note: this guide mentions events up to The Eye of the World.
