About Shienar
Shienar sits between the Spine of the World and Arafel, with the Blight to the north. The Erinin rises in the Spine and flows along its southern edge. Fortresses like Fal Dara watch the way from Tarwin's Gap, and the capital Fal Moran lies further south.
Shienaran soldiers shave their heads except for a topknot and follow a strict code of honour. Lord Agelmar, Ingtar and Uno are among the Shienarans readers meet in the first books.
