About Seanchan
Seanchan lies far to the west of the Westlands, across the Aryth Ocean and beyond the edge of this map. About a thousand years ago Artur Hawkwing sent armies across the sea, and their descendants built an empire ruled from the Crystal Throne in Seandar.
The Seanchan return to the Westlands in The Great Hunt, landing at Falme on Toman Head. Their damane, women who can channel kept on leashes, shock everyone who sees them.
